The small edit boxes (Prefix, Suffix, Dial, Hangup) accept up to 15 characters. The larger Init box
accepts up to 260 characters. The guard delay is in tenths of a second and can be between 0 and 30
seconds. Control-codes are represented by using a caret '^' as a meta-character. For example,
<CR> is CTRL-M (0x0D) and is represented as '^M'.
<LF> is CTRL-J (0x0A) and is represented as '^J'.
The code <RS> is CTRL-^ (0x1E) and is represented by '^~'. The code <DEL>
(0x7F) is represented by '^?'. The character '^' is represented by the special sequence '^^'.
If the string is invalid (empty or containing an illegal CTRL-sequence) when
OK is clicked, the box containing the invalid string is selected and a beep sounds. You can then
correct the sequence or click Cancel to abort. If the Modem Init string is zero-length then
the Prefix-Init-Suffix string isn't sent.
