Settings - Keyboard Search  Prev Next   Programmable Keys Function, backspace, cursor, delete, home, end, page-up, page-down, enter, escape, tab, insert, print-screen and shifted versions Selects the current key to show / edit / reset. Reset Click Resets the currently selected key to the terminal default. Reset All Click Resets all keys to the terminal defaults. Sequence Maximum length 64 characters, not counting meta-character pairs The sequence of characters that the key can be programmed to send. Control-codes are represented by using a caret '^' as a meta-character. For example, <CR> (0x0D) is CTRL-M and is represented as '^M'. <LF> (0x0A) is CTRL-J and is represented as '^J'. The code <RS> CTRL-^ (0x1E) is represented by '^~'. The code <DEL> (0x7F) is represented by '^?'. The character '^' is represented by the special sequence '^^'. Direction Normal The key sequence respects the current echo mode. Protect Sequence On/Off When checked the key sequence cannot be cleared or programmed by the server. Remote The key sequence is sent to the communications port only. Local The key sequence is echoed locally only. Language ANSI Choose the terminal language. ANSI is the default and supports 8-bit characters. The other languages are 7-bit National Replacement Character Set (NRCS) mappings.
